Review of Biorepair Plus – Repair and Protect toothpaste to repair tooth enamel.

This is a sponsored post which means I have received payment to cover the time involved in road-testing this product and writing about it. I guarantee the views expressed in this post are still 100% honest and all my own opinion. I promise!
I was recently asked if I would like to review some BioRepair Plus – Repair and Protect toothpaste. I had never heard of the product before but when I read that the Biorepair toothpaste can repair tooth enamel I just knew I had to say yes to the review. It sounded like one of those products I just wanted to see for myself to see whether or not it actually works.

Biorepair is described as being able to repair tooth enamel, prevent decay and reduce sensitivity. It does this by filling in the tiny cracks and binding to the structure of the enamel. The Biorepair does not contain added Fluoride like most other toothpastes. Instead it contains microparticles of hydroxyapatite, called microRepair, which are released when you brush your teeth.  They say that the reason the Biorepair toothpaste does such a good job of repairing the enamel on your teeth is because the Hydroxyapatite is virtually identical to enamel itself.

The Biorepair actively repairs tooth enamel because the microparticles of microRepair are so small that they can fill the tiny cracks and crevices on the surface of your teeth and bind to the enamel.

Here are couple of videos that explain what Biorepair is and how it can help protect you and your child’s teeth:-

If you just watched the videos about using Biorepair you will have heard them say that by using Biorepair on your kid’s teeth it is unlikely that your child will ever need a filling. That really does sound fantastic! I haven’t tried the Biorepair toothpaste on my daughter’s teeth yet (mainly as she is still quite young) so I can’t really comment on whether or not it has an effect on the enamel of children’s teeth.  I can certainly say that if I ever find out from a dentist that she has dental erosion the first thing I will be doing is buying some Biorepair for her to try.  Obviously we all know that kids shouldn’t have too many sugary snacks and fizzy drink but it is reassuring that there is now a toothpaste that could help provide continuous protection for your child’s teeth.
Now to get to the road-testing results:-
My mum suffers really badly with all sorts of teeth and gum problems so I knew she would be more than willing to give the Biorepair a go. Well, it has now been 5 weeks that she has been using it and she is in love with it! I’m not kidding!
She is so impressed with the Biorepair Plus!
  • She loves the fact that the toothpaste doesn’t burn her mouth and she says she has never before found a toothpaste that hasn’t made her mouth sting.
  • She is equally delighted that the toothpaste comes out of the tube at a steady pace instead of just squeezing out all over the place like some brands out there. This means the tube will last longer and she gets to save money.
  • But most importantly she has found a very noticeable difference in the pain in her teeth. She can’t say whether or not the Biorepair has actually repaired the enamel on her teeth (as I think possibly only a dentist would be able to say if that is the case) but she is convinced that her teeth are not as painful as before and she has had a lot less incidents of bleeding gums. She has also found that the gums seem to be healing themselves. There is no mention on the website that Biorepair can do this but this is a very welcome side effect that my mum has found. She hopes it continues as she has had years of deteriorating gums and she is so happy that the Biorepair is helping to mend them.
My mum’s tube of toothpaste is now nearly empty after using it two or three times a day for over a month.  She has said she will definitely be buying the Biorepair again and recommending it to others. She is also looking forward to seeing the dentist next time (very unusual!) to see if there has been any improvement on the condition of her tooth enamel.  She can’t quite believe that a toothpaste has made such a difference to her teeth. She just wishes she had known about it years ago!

I was also sent another tube of Biorepair which I gave to my sister-in-law to review. She doesn’t have many problems with her teeth so I was interested to see if she would notice any differences after using the Biorepair. Well, she has only been using the Biorepair for a couple of weeks.but she says she hasn’t noticed any changes to how her teeth feel. She is also not too keen on the taste unlike my mum who really likes it.

This just shows how two different people can have such different opinions of a product. Everybody is different and that is why the same product will have different results with each person.  I think the best idea is to go and buy a tube and give it a go yourself. It is not too expensive at £3.49 for a 75ml tube at Acdoco Direct.  They are the stockists that Biorepair link to from their website but if you contact them I am sure they will be able to tell you if they have any more online or high street stockists.

I haven’t personally tested the Biorepair but going by the way my Mum is singing it’s praises I think I will definitely have to give it a go.

Have lots of enamel coming off my teeth from cancer treatment. I was crying in pain and the only dentist I could see offered me an appointment in 12 weeks (private). Searched high and low and found the biorepair products. Used them religiously for 10 days and all my pain has gone – after 9 weeks of constant discomfory where I was taking 8 codeine a day this feels wonderful. My teeth feel great now and I cant thank them enough.

Readings Sue’s comment gave me hope. I bought one off of Amazon because the dentist is trying to pull a tooth that is needing a root canal, I refuse to get one. So hopefully this toothpaste can help me out so that I don’t need a root canal.
