Review of Boden Scarves

Boden Jersey sequined scarf from a past collection.

Early this year I was sent two pretty sequined jersey scarves to review from those lovely people over at Boden. The scarves were from one of the past collections so are currently unavailable to buy. I’m sure they will probably re-introduce something similar in the future though.

The scarves are made to a very high standard and are so soft and easy to wear. My mum had the purple one and my sister had the petrol blue one. They both wear scarves all the time whereas I hardly ever wear them…although it is tempting with scarves as luxurious as this!

I love Boden as they use so many polka dot and floral prints in their collections…and as you’ll know from reading this blog…I am addicted to anything shabby chic style. The prices are a little too expensive for me to be able to warrant buying all the beautiful things that I see on their site…but it doesn’t stop me wishing I could have them all!

As I can’t link you to these identical scarves that I received, I thought I would instead introduce you all to some of the scarves in Boden’s current Autumn / Winter 2011 collection.

My absolute favourite has to be the Wool Spot scarf at £29.00. It looks gorgeous on the photos. It is available in lots of different colourways. My favourite is the Pewter Polkadot which is a grey base colour with lime green spots.

My second choice is the Fun Knit scarf as it is available in a cute polka dot design called soft aqua spot.

It costs £29.00. It looks like it will keep you nice and cosy in the winter weather. The best bit is that you can also buy a matching woolly hat and gloves!

My third choice is the Crinkle Scarf in Bright Pink Bloom which is a bargain at the current sale price of £8.00. It isn’t strictly in their Autumn / Winter collection as it is clearance stock…but it is currently available to buy….that’s all that matters really.  It is found under the Girl’s section on the site so not really meant for adults. That certainly wouldn’t stop me buying it though. It is aimed at girls because it is slightly shorter than the women’s scarves.
