What a miserable day it is today! No sunshine – just lots of rain and a cloudy sky. This sponsored post should cheer you up though , it’s about the lovely new Lumix camera by Panasonic. With that new camera it may be a moody looking day but at least you can trust that it will show through into your photos because of the advanced features of the Panisonic Lumix camera. :o)
I have never tried a Panasonic camera myself but reading the information about it I am starting to wish I had one! The new compact system Lumix camera is called the Lumix DMC-GX7 and is currently available on the Panasonic website for £986.99. It is a lot of money to splash out but compact system cameras of this quality always are this kind of price.
I know my dad would absolutely love a camera like the Lumix DMC-GX7. It is top of the range and a fantastic piece of photographical equipment which everyone would admire. My dad loves to birdwatch and this camera would surely take fantastic photos of Warblers and Terns! It is a Twitcher’s dream camera!
The Lumix DMC-GX7 has a newly developed 16.00- megapixel digital live MOS sensor and a Venus processing engine. It has a magnesium alloy full die-cast frame body. The camera offers a top level of AF performance above any mirrorless cameras.
Here are some other things about it that are noteworthy….
- Tilt LVF and Approx. 1040K-dot Tiltable Touch Monitor
- Max. 1/8000 Fast Shutter Speed, O.I.S. in Camera Body, and Focus Peaking
- Full-HD 50p (50Hz) High Quality Video Recording Performance
I am not going to kid you and pretend that I understand all that much about the specification of the Panasonic Lumix camera …I don’t. I do however know that I trust Panasonic and they are, in my eyes, the digital camera leader and thus the reason that I trust them that with a price tag of close to £1000 this camera is the creme de la creme of cameras. :o) If you are into your photography then you will understand everything that the specification page tells you. You can view it here. I know my dad would know what all the words mean….just not me I’m afraid.
I do however understand what this Camera data infographic is telling me. :o) It is saying that we all love to upload pictures to Facebook , that taking photos is more popular than ever before and that nowadays we are all Snap Happy! I am very guilty of taking lots of photos, especially when it comes to taking photos of my daughter when she was a baby! I managed to fill a whole photo album in a space of about a week of her being born! I don’t regret it one bit though!
Photos are memories and they are a very important thing to me. I would never want to be without a digital camera!
Thank you for reading my post. I have been rewarded with an Amazon voucher for writing this…maybe I’d better buy yet more photo albums to fill up! :o)
