This video shows you how you might find the ScanWritr app would help you during a busy day. There is a free version of the app which can be downloaded or a paid for version.
The app can be downloaded for use on Android, iOS (iTunes), Blackberry and Windows Phone.
Here is the description of the app (courtesy of their iTunes page):-
“ScanWritr is a fast-growing, easy-to-use professional document scanner and PDF converter. Simply scan that sheet of paper, watch as app’s Real-Time Edge Detection does its trick, fill out the blanks, sign it, convert to PDF and send it to the receiver via e-mail, fax, social media etc. – all within the comfort of your own mobile device!”
Some of ScanWritr’s features are:
●Camera-based Document Scanner
●Real-Time Edge Detection
●Document import (MS Office, Open Office, Libre Office, Hancom/Hangul etc.)
●Fax (requires the purchase of fax tokens)
●Social Media Connectivity
Please note that with the free version of the app you can only export documents up to 5 pages long and they will be watermarked. Also, there will be adverts in the app and if you wish to use some features such as faxing there is a charge to pay.
If you wish to remove some of the limitations then you can buy the in-app purchase for $1.99 that removes ads and page per export limit + watermarks for e-mails only or you can pay $3.99 to buy the in-app purchase to remove every single limitation – from removing watermarks and ads to unlimited pages per export for e-mail, cloud, social media, device’s gallery and printing.
The fax service uses tokens and 1 token = 1 page (for most of the countries). Each token costs $0.99 or you can choose to buy packages of 5 ($4.95), 10 ($8.99), 20 ($17.98), 50($44.95) and 100 ($89.99) tokens.
The app has been developed by Vanaia.
* In return for me posting this video I have been given some fax tokens to use in their app.
