This is my first ‘Christmas Gift Idea’ blog post of 2014 and I am starting off by suggesting a gift idea for a book lover. Over on the CultureVultureDirect website I saw that they sell this pack of 100 replica Puffin book cover postcards and at just £14.99 they are a reasonable price for a thoughtful gift.

Each of the 100 postcards is a reproduction of a classic Puffin children’s book cover. The designs span from 1941-2008 and they include book covers such as ‘Treasure Island’, classic Roald Dahl and ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’.

The recipient of these gifts could either choose to frame a selection of them to put up on their wall or they might even decide to send some out to friends and family as notecards. Whatever they end up doing with them – they are sure to be delighted that you chose them such a special gift.
