My mum was delighted to be sent the Judge Kitchen 3 in 1 Digital Spoon Scale and Meat Thermometer to review for my blog. She has been wanting a meat thermometer for a long while but never quite got round to buying one… luckily for her Judge kindly sent her one to review instead. 🙂
This is a really nifty bit of kit and it is something I think every cook would find useful to have in their kitchen. It is not just a quick read digital meat thermometer probe but it’s also a leave-in meat thermometer. To check the internal temperature of the meat whilst it is cooks you need to place the probe into the joint of meat whilst it is cooking in the oven and then monitor the temperature of it by looking at the thermometer which can hang from the cooker handle on the outside the oven. And if that is not enough….it is also a digital spoon scale that can weigh out dry ingredients such as dried fruits or baking powder or accurately measure out volume of liquids such as milk and oil in mls. The spoon can hold 20ml at a time and it can measure up to 500ml or 500grams.
The spoon scale can measure in grams , mls and ounces while the thermometer measures in degrees and fahrenheit. The cooking thermometer range is -50°C – 300°C / -58°F – 572°F.
The Judge 3 in 1 digital spoon scale with dual thermometer attachments has a dual-colour backlit LCD digital display and it comes pre-set with safe cooking temperature alerts for meat such as beef and chicken. The alarm function is really handy as it alerts you when the correct temperature of the meat is reached
The Judge 3 in 1 thermometer can be bought from various online and high street stockists. You can search for your local Judge stockist using the search box on the Judge website. One online store that sells the meat thermometer / spoon scale is the Harts Of Stur website and they currently have it for £19.94. You can buy it on this link.
My mum is very impressed with this and she is pleased to now have a meat thermometer to accurately measure the internal temperature of the joints of meat she cooks. She can now be extra sure that the meat she cooks is thoroughly cooked through and safe to eat.
You can follow Judge on twitter and facebook to be kept up to date with their latest innovations and promotions.
Big thank you goes to Judge for being kind and sending this handy kitchen gadget out to my mum. 🙂
