To enter I need to have a browse through their site and list the items I would have from their website in my dream home. I look forward to having a look.
I’m back! I’ve looked through their website and they sell so many lovely things. I can now tell you which 6 items from their site I would put in my dream home and where I’d put them….
Wingback Armchair in Ditto Verdi Fabric (or , as I would call it if I had it in my dream home….a gloriously spotty dotty polka dot armchair!!) I love my polka dots….as I think you all know by now just by looking at my blog. Plus if you read this post you can see some of my polka dot collection…including my polka dot fridge! If I had this chair I would put it in my lounge in the corner of the room so I could snuggle up in it and read a book, watch some TV or do some patchwork. I love that the chair looks posh and polka dotty!
Padstow Off White Painted Console Table I have always wanted a console table in my hall but the hall in my current house doesn’t have enough room in it to put one of these chic tables so in my dream house I would definitely have this Padstow console table in the hall! I would put a polka dot vase on it that is filled with vibrantly coloured flowers and I’d be organised and keep things like my phone charger, address book and hair brush in the drawers.
- This Circular Tree Bench would go in the garden of my dream home. It would be in the middle of the garden and it would go around a sweet-smelling cherry blossom tree and in the spring you would get cherry blossom confetti in your hair when you sit on the bench. What a shame it’s just a dream! 🙁 The reason I love this bench is because it has lots of seating space and it would look very grand in my dream garden.
- Padstow Off White Small Oak Sideboard with Glazed Hutch would look lovely in the sewing room of my dream home. I would use it to store all my fabrics in and I would take photos of my huge stash of neatly stored fabrics and send them to sewing magazines so people could admire my beautiful fabric stash. :-) I love the sideboard (although I would call it a dresser….my lovely sewing dresser!) because it looks shabby chic and stylish. It also makes the task of being organised look like an achievable dream!
- I would have the Padstow Off White Large Extending Oak Dining Set in my kitchen. It would be an excellent table to sit at and chat with my daughter while I am preparing tea and we could sit and eat together around the table. Plus I love that it is an extending table as there would be enough space to have lots of people over for Christmas dinner.
- Last but by no means least, I would love the Kew Oatmeal Fabric Tub Chair. I would have it in my home office. No it isn’t your usual office chair but oh my, it is pretty! I adore the floral fabric print and it is a wonderful colour.
I have enjoyed browsing the homelifedirect website so I could write my entry for their #HomeLifeDreamHome Competition.
