Last week I was sent a gorgeous gift in the post from Debs at Rainbow’s End Creations. It was a parcel containing 2 handmade beeswax candles from her hand-poured candle range plus a delightful hand-decorated card that she had made for me.
The beehive candle (also know as a Skep in the beekeeping world) is so pretty. It even has little bee shapes on the side of it. The candle came beautifully wrapped up in decorated cellophane with ribbon trim and it looked like such a wonderful gift! If you were giving this to someone as a Christmas, Birthday or Thank You gift you would be delighted with how lovely this looked all wrapped up. The candle is £6.70 plus P+P to pay.
The candle is made from 100% natural beeswax which Debs gets from a local Kent beekeeper. The candle is described as having a subtle honey smell and it is a rich butterscotch colour. It measures approx 38mm wide by 50mm high and weighs approx 65g.
The other candle I was received was presented in a pretty little purple hand-decorated box with a matching purple ribbon tied around it. This looked amazing and my daughter really enjoyed unwrapping this. 🙂
Inside the box was the most precious little red rose candle with glitter edges. It is is stunning! So pretty in fact that it is a shame to burn it but I am not one for keeping candles just for decoration. I like to burn them and enjoy their flickering glow whilst I sit and watch TV in the evening.
This red rose candle is £5.90 to buy or you can get 3 for £15 (plus P+P to pay). These would make delightful little stocking fillers for any adults who you need to buy gifts for. Especially as they come presented in the lovely gift box. The rose candle is also available in a 100% natural honey coloured beeswax but my red one has been dyed with synthetic dye and had the addition of the sparkly glitter (still 100% beeswax though). I love it! 🙂

They might sound more expensive than a store bought candle but these have been handmade by Debs using 100% beeswax which is a premium wax to use for candles. It is very clear from the card she made me and the way she has artfully presented her candles that a lot of time and careful attention to detail has gone into making these beeutiful gifts!
Thank you so much Debs. It has been lovely to have this opportunity to review for you 🙂
