Review Of Rosie Mai’s Wax Melts. Handmade In Durham By Friends & Neighbours – Katie & Elaine.

review of Rosie Mai's Wax MeltsI love to have my home scented with the fragrance of candles burning or wax melts warming so I was really pleased when I was offered the chance to review some wax melts from Durham based business – Rosie Mai’s Wax Melts.

There are so many different fragrances of wax melts to choose from! 12 to be precise! I was sent a gift pack of wax melts and these are the 7 scents I went for :-

  1. Black Cherry Explosion (Seen pictured in the above photo)
  2. English Rain
  3. Delicious
  4. Baby Powder
  5. Mango Papaya
  6. Fig & Browns Sugar
  7. Clean Cotton

These are the other available scents – Marzipan, Merlot Wine, Chantelle No5, Apple Jack Peel and Champagne Pomegranate.

A gift set of 10 ‘Pick & Mix’ wax melts is just £6.00 and UK postage is £3.30 on orders up to 1kg in weight. As your postage cost covers a parcel of up to 1kg you may as well treat yourself to a new wax tart burner from Rosie Mais while you are there placing an order! 🙂

Each tart burner is £5.00 and there are lots of different designs available. You can see them all in the photo collage below.

review of Rosie Mai's Wax MeltsI already had a wax burner otherwise I would have loved one of theirs to review. It would have been very tough having to pick a favourite design though!

The gift set of 10 wax melts is a bargain at £6 and the wax melts are superb quality. They are highly fragranced and melt extremely easily. I don’t hesitate to recommend them to you. All you have to do is pop a wax melt tart into the top of a wax burner and place a lit tealight in the chamber of the burner so that the heat will gradually melt the wax and the scent will spread throughout your home.

My favourite scent from the selection I was sent was the Baby Powder, followed by Clean Cotton and then English Rain. I also loved the other 5 fragrances too! The Black Cherry Explosion was super fruity and intense and I didn’t need to burn this wax for long to scent the room. There is a scent for every taste and they are great quality fragrances.

The wax melts are made from soy wax and they are handmade by Elaine & Kate, two friends & neighbours who are now wax melt makers!

The company is fairly new, having only launched in April 2015 and yet they already have a facebook page with an amazing 739 Likes and they can also be found on twitter too – that’s where I met them. 🙂
