My daughter absolutely LOVES Play-Doh and I don’t blame her! What’s not to love about the colourful, squidgy , modelling dough! Well, except for when it gets trodden into the carpet…but I make sure to always put a wipe clean sheet under her work area to avoid this happening and I recommend you do the same. 🙂 I used to play with Play-Doh when I was growing up and I love that it is still around so my daughter can play with it too.
My daughter spent yesterday evening creating lots of Play-Doh models using the play sets that she has in her collection. She was really eager for me to post a pic of what she made so I am happily obliging and writing this blog post.
The play sets she currently owns are as follows (She has been bought them as gifts or with the money she has saved up from Birthdays and Christmas etc) :-
- Play-Doh Cupcake Celebration Playset – Currently £14.99 on Amazon UK
- Play-Doh Crazy Cuts Playset – Currently £15.38 on Amazon UK
- Play-Doh Sweet Shoppe Swirl and Scoop Ice Cream Playset – Currently £12.37 on Amazon UK
- Play-Doh Sweet Shoppe Cake Mountain – Currently £14.73 on Amazon UK
- Play-Doh Disney Prettiest Princess Castle – This is now discontinued.
- Play-Doh Princess Sparkle Compound – Cinderella – This seems to be discontinued.
She is very keen on adding to her collection so I will keep you posted if she buys any more Play-Doh play sets to use.
I love how creative she can be when she gets her hands on her pots of play-doh! She spent ages creating these cupcake and hair style models and she would happily spend her days making more and more models. only problem is that isn’t too pleased that she has to dismantle the models
I home educate my daughter and we spend a lot of time doing creative craft activities. I think it is important that she has the opportunity to be able to create things using her own hands and imagination! Play-Doh is a great medium for her to be able to do just that. The colourful pots are not all that expensive to buy and the play sets are really good value for money and make great gifts for Birthdays and Christmas.
You can buy Play-Doh from lots of different high street and online stockists. Here are just some of them!
Buy Play-Doh From Tesco Direct
Buy Play-Doh From House Of Fraser
Buy Play-Doh From The Entertainer
*Please note that this is not a sponsored post or a review where I have been sent something for free. Although I know my daughter would love it if Hasbro or any other stockists would consider us for future Play-Doh reviews 😀
Awww bless her wanting you to put a picture of her fabulous creations on your blog. She’s a superstar xx
