I was recently sent the most beautiful handmade cards to feature on my blog. They have been made by Sara from ‘Stuff By Sara‘. I met her on twitter and she asked me if I would like to review a few of her cards on my blog and I eagerly agreed. 🙂
I picked 3 cards from her ‘Stuff By Sara’ Etsy UK shop and she posted them out to me as quick as lightening! The cards came in a board backed envelope and they were all wrapped up in a pale yellow tissue paper with one of her personalised labels stuck on the paper to seal the pretty wrapped parcel. It was a treat to unwrap these cards!
Origami ‘Dictionary Paper’ Dress Card – This card can also be made with ‘Graph Paper’ if you would prefer.
Blue Suit Birthday Card – This exact shirt design is no longer available as I was sent it to review but this Red Suit Card is very similar. Sara may be able to make the same one for you though, upon request.
‘Newspaper’ New Home Card – This card is gorgeous! It is a modern typographic style design and the little red felt heart is a wonderful added touch! The word HOME is slightly raised from the card as it is made of card covered with newspaper print paper.
These cards are so well made and it is very obvious that a lot of work has gone into creating them. Anybody would be so happy to receive one of these cards!
Each handmade greeting card is made from top quality card and the embellishments all look so professional. Each card arrives in a sealed cello bag so that you can keep them clean up until you decide to send them to someone. There is a plain envelope for you to write on and each card has a ‘Stuff By Sara’ stamp or label on the back of it.
Do you want to know the best bit…. these are only £2.50 each! Such a good price for stunning handmade cards like these. UK postage varies depending on the card but most are £1.45 for 1or 2 cards to be posted or £2.80 for 3 or 4 cards to be sent.
I think it will be physically impossible for anyone to ‘bin’ or even recycle one of these handmade cards! Whoever you send one of these cards to will either keep the card with all their other treasured things or they will frame it to display on the wall. They are just so lovely!
As Mother’s Day is not far off you might want to take a look at Sara’s Mother’s Day cards. they are an intricate design and cost £3.50 each (excluding postage). You can see them in the photo below:-
