Today I am going to tell you all a bit about The Dandelion Den and showcase some of their products for you.
My daughter was kindly gifted a Clockwork Soldier Fluttering Butterflies kit from the company which is part of the Letterbox Gifts range that they sell. The item was packed beautifully and arrived, as planned, directly through my letterbox – no need to pick these gifts up from the post office if you don’t answer the door on time! The Letterbox Gift was wrapped in pretty tissue paper and my daughter was thrilled when she discovered the package was for her!
The Dandelion Den is a new online Interiors website and was founded by Shelley after struggling to find unique items for her 4 year old twins when shopping online. Her vision is to provide an assortment of modern, retro and vintage inspired products for little people and their design loving, style savvy grown-ups. She handpicks all the items in her online store from stylish brands and independent designers from around the world which means she can offer a collection that is a little bit different to what you might normally find in the big chain retailers. She stocks brands such as Garlands With Love, Tulipop and Pink Nounou (First time I have seen the Pink Nounou brand and I now adore them as they make such gorgeous things!).
I have had a good look through the website and here are my 10 favourite items! These would all be ideal as Birthday or Christmas gifts for kids….(or adults who are young at heart!)

- Pink Nounou – Mr Mushroom Square Pillow – £20.00 – This 100% cotton cushion is 12 x 12 inches. I adore red and white polka dots so this cushion is definitely a fave of mine!
- KG Design – Mr Robot Silicone Money Box Blue – £14.00 – It’s always good to encourage kids to save their pocket money so what better way to do that then to buy them this stylish BPA Free silicon Robot Money Box to pop their coins into. The mouth is the coin slot and the saved money can easily be emptied by taking the head off the robot.
- Ketchup on Everything – Animal Alphabet Print – £25.00 – This vibrant A1 size print (841 x 594 mm) / (33.1 x 23.4 in) will bring a pop of colour into your child’s bedroom. The quirky vintage inspired Animal Alphabet print is educational because each letter of the alphabet is represented by an animal and a descriptive word beginning with the same letter, which is linked to the illustration. It is a Litho print on 170gsm silk paper (Frame not included).
- Clockwork Soldier – Pet Hospital – £7.99 -This little gift is small enough to fit through the letterbox when posted which means it is ideal to send to a child for their Birthday as it shouldn’t end up in the parcel sorting office but instead on the doormat and into the child’s little hands, hopefully on their Birthday!
- Best Years – Mini T Rex Rattle – £8.99 – What’s not to love about this roarsome T-Rex rattle! It’s colourful and cuddly! The rattle is Fair Trade and it is made from 100% acrylic yarn. It measures approx 13cm x 13cm and can be machine washed.
- Pink Nounou – Softie Bunny – £18.00 – This bunny softie has cute ears, rosy cheeks and holds a tiny heart in her paws. It is adorable! The bunny is handmade with cotton fabric and printed with water based inks. It measures 10cm wide x 30cm height.
- Made of Sundays – Anni the Bunny Door Sticker – £26.00 – I am totally in love with this door sticker! What a fantastically simple sticker but one that any child would love to have in their bedroom. It will make their bedroom feel so welcoming….especially at bedtime! The website states that you can arrange all the elements according to the size of your surface, hence this bunny will fit on most doors, windows, fridges, closets or wherever you feel you need a sleepy face.
- Scamp – Night Night Sleep Tight Triple Cloud Decoration – £20.00 – I think this hanging cloud laser cut decoration with ‘Night Night Sleep Tight’ sentiment would be a lovely addition to any baby or child’s bedroom. It measures as follows :- Largest cloud – 20cm wide x 10cm high, Medium cloud – 16cm wide x 8cm high, Smallest cloud – 12cm wide x 6cm high
