Back at the end of October I spoke to the team over at EACH Children’s Hospice to see if it would be okay if I tried to get some Christmas Gifts donated for them to use at the Quidenham Hospice Christmas Party and I was delighted when they said that would be okay.
I then set about contacting businesses to see if they could donate anything for me and I am happy to say that companies have indeed donated to this good cause. 🙂 Thank you so much!
I had until November 21st to collect gifts and I am delighted to say that I have received lots of items for them. I will be writing a separate blog post to personally thank the companies who have donated to my Christmas Gift appeal. 🙂
Here was the message from EACH –
“Each year, we hold a Quidenham Christmas Party, for all our care receivers & their families in Norfolk. Each child and their siblings will receive a Christmas present, which is where your donated gift could go, as long as we receive this by 21st November. Any other donated items will either be stored for next year’s party, or be donated to our retail stores, to continue raising vital funds for our services. East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices provide care and support for life-threatened children and their families. Our services include play, music, art, physio and hydrotherapies, as well as short-break care, symptom management, end-of-life care, and bereavement support.”
I have really enjoyed collecting Christmas Gifts for EACH and will definitely be doing the same again next year! 😀 Keep an eye out for my ‘Thank You’ Blog Post .
Many thanks, Kim
