The sun is well and truly shining and holiday plans are being made by all! It was perfect timing for me to be offered the chance to review a couple of past season swimming costumes on my blog. I was given the chance to receive a Miraclesuit Sanibel swimming costume in a black/gold floral design and a Anita Comfort swimming costume in a ‘Peacock Fever’ design and I happily accepted because I would gift the cozzies to one of my friends as she is going on holiday to Spain in a few weeks time.
The costumes are superb quality and once I had opened the parcel I couldn’t wait to give them to my friend so she could take them on holiday with her. I took them over to her house so she could try them on and she was very impressed with them. If they had been in a larger size I can tell you now that I would have been very selfish and kept these beauties for myself!
The back of the Anita Comfort swimming costume is plain blue with a deep scoop back and the front features a cross over design at the bust. The peacock design overlay dips down at one side and has slight ruching at one side of the waist so that it will be flattering to your figure. Inside the swimming costume there are sized cups so that it will fit your figure perfectly. I am not certain exactly how much this swimming costume retailed for as it is from a past collection and as such is no longer available for sale. If I go by the current 2018 Anita collection I would guess it would have cost around about the £80 mark.
The Miraclesuit Sanibel swimming costume is white with a large scale black leaf and flower design with gold detailing. The costume is shirred from bust to waist so that you appear to have a slimmer silhouette, the straps are fairly wide so you get good support and the back is a mid scoop. This has a sweetheart neckline which accentuates your bust and leads in to the torso-wrapping of the material which the ‘Sanibel’ style is renowned for! It is so flattering! Patricia Eve Ltd (Distributors of Miraclesuit) say that the Miraclesuit swimming costumes are ‘every woman’s dream come true. We call it the Miraclesuit because it has three times the “holding power” of the average swimsuit and accomplishes this without the conventional girdle control linings, simply engineered like no other swimsuit in the world‘. I am not certain exactly how much this swimming costume retailed for as it is from a past collection and as such is no longer available for sale. If I go by the current 2018 Miraclesuit collection I would guess it would have cost around about the £150 mark.
As I have already mentioned, both of these swimming costume designs are no longer available as they are from past collections however there are plenty of new designs which you can currently order!
