I am delighted to be able to bring you a review of these absolutely stunning handmade hair bows from Rainbow & Ginger London. Aren’t they beautiful! I ‘virtually’ met the lovely Vida over at Rainbow & Ginger London on Twitter and she kindly offered to send my daughter a couple of her hair bows for me to feature on my blog.

Vida chose to send us the ‘Navy & Stripy Hair Bow Clip‘ from her ‘School Hair Bow Collection’ and the ‘Large Pink & Stripy Tail Satin Bow with Tulle and Faux Pearl & Rhinestone Buckle‘ from her ‘Bespoke Hair Bow Collection’.

The photo below shows you how pretty these hairbows look in my daughter’s hair. As you can imagine, she absolutely adores them! They were sent to her in a white organza bag and they really did look like such a special gift. Thank you so much Vida, you made my daughter’s day!The Navy & Stripy Bow is a really stylish hand-crafted hair bow which has been made from quality grosgrain ribbon. It has an uncovered alligator clip attached to the back so it can be securely placed in the hair. It is part of the Rainbow & Ginger London School Collection as the navy and stripe ribbon would be a perfect match to some school uniforms. My daughter is home educated so this bow won’t be worn to school but instead it will be worn with party dresses and general day-to-day outfits.  This bow is £5.99 which I think is a great price for a handmade item. It is obvious with both this bow and the pink one that Vida has spent a great deal of time and effort making these hair accessories so they are perfect for the child who receives them.The ‘Large Pink & Stripy Tail Satin Bow with Tulle and Faux Pearl & Rhinestone Buckle‘ is a really special hand-crafted hair bow which has been made from quality satin pink and stripy ribbon. There is a rhinestone buckle around the centre of the bow which is a lovely addition and there is an uncovered alligator clip attached to the back so it can be securely placed in the hair. It is part of the ‘Bespoke Hair Bow Collection’ and therefore is not currently available on the Rainbow & Ginger London website but if you wanted to order one then I am sure Vida can custom make a bow the same for you. Prices for these custom hair bows depend on your ribbon and embellishment choices. You can get a price by emailing the company on info@rainbowandgingerlondon.com. This hair bow costs £8.99 and is fuller than the navy one and it also has the added extra of the long tails on the ribbon, the faux pearl & rhinestone buckle and the fancy net/tulle. You can see from the photo that this would be the perfect party hair bow!There are lots of different styles and colours of hair bows available over on the Rainbow & Ginger London website and she also sells hair clips, hair ties and headbands. The prices are all very reasonable and when you spend over £10 on your first order you will even get a free gift! At the time of writing this, standard UK delivery is £3.50 but on orders of £15+ it is free.

We are now at the beginning of December and Christmas is not far away at all so if you are looking for a stocking filler for your daughter / granddaughter / niece etc then a hair bow would be ideal! The only problem you’re going to have is choosing which ones to go for as there are so many pretty designs to choose from!
