I’m part of the Asmodee UK Blogger Board Game Club and they have gifted me ‘Confident?‘ the board game in exchange for an honest review. In case you’re not aware, Asmodee UK is an established distributor of games, collectables and toys – both domestically and across Europe.
Back in May 2019, when the opportunity first came about to be part of the Asmodee UK Blogger Board Game Club (organised by Playtime PR) I jumped at the chance to try out some of their games! I was given the opportunity to select board games from a huge list they supplied me with and then they sent me the games to review. So far I have received ‘Hey, That’s My Fish!‘ (Click here to read the review) , Ticket to Ride – Europe (Click here to read the review) , Jungle Speed (Click here to read the review), Dice Academy (click here to read my review), ‘SET‘ game (Click here to read the review), ‘Just One‘ (Click here to read the review), ‘Ticket to Ride London‘ (Click here to read the review), Maki Stack (Click here to read the review), ‘Azul’ (Click here to read the review), and ‘Exploding Kittens‘ and Confident?
The Confident? party game has been great fun to play as it is really simple to set up, easy to understand and suitable for a wide range of ages. The board game box contains some dry wipe markers, wipe-clean boards for you to write your answers down on and lots of question cards.
This is the website description of the game:
Players answer curious questions with a range. Win points if the right answer is in your range, but the more you’re sure, the more you score!
The Guess-a-Range Party Game
CONFIDENT? is a highly entertaining party game where you answer questions like “how many slices are there in a loaf of bread?”. But, instead of giving specific answers, everyone answers with a RANGE! You only need to get the right answer in your range to win points so everyone can have a go, but the smaller your range compared to everyone else, the more you score! Are you CONFIDENT enough to win?
Have you got hard-to-please friends or family? Then CONFIDENT? is the after-dinner game for you as it impresses the trickiest of guests! The quirky questions spark lively conversations and provoke hilarious answers, and there’s no waiting turns or long-winded explanations. Includes all you need to play right away – 6 dry-wipe boards & markers, a scoreboard and 180 question cards.
How easy can you get! You can literally open the box, get the cards, boards and pens out and commence your game straight away. There are no little pieces to get out and there is no spending an hour reading instructions …which is such a bonus!
This video shows you how to play the game…
My daughter is 10 and I electively home educate her. We play lots of board games together as it is such a fun way to learn new things. This game is really educational as it is teaching us both the answers to lots of curious questions such as: What’s the top speed of the world’s fastest rollercoaster?, and What percentage of UK adults aged 29 to 39 have at least one tattoo?. We adore trivia and the fantastic thing about this game is that no-one playing the game has an unfair advantage because there is very little chance you know the exact answer but because you have to guess an answer by writing down a range it means you all have a fairly good chance of getting the answer correct.
We are really impressed with the Confident? game and highly recommend it. They even sell expansion packs so you can purchase even more intriguing question cards to use with your answer boards – such as ‘How much does a newborn Giraffe weight? , What’s the average cost of a wedding in the UK? and What’s the world record, in minutes, for smiling?’
You can purchase the Confident? board game on Amazon UK . The fun party game is currently on sale for £24.37. To play the game you can have 2 to 6 players or teams instead.
Make sure to follow Confident? on social media as you will then keep up to date with their latest expansion packs and offers. You can find them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
